| We promote honest and legal towing from private parking facilities, as the towing of unauthorized vehicles is a necessity, while I will agree most of people deserve to be towed. My concern is with the wrecker drivers, towing company owners, vehicle storage facility owners and their employees who continue to violate State Law on a daily basis. It's companies that violate the law which give the Towing Industry a bad reputation. I get calls everyday from the public, towing company owners, drivers, asking questions regarding whether a tow would be legal or not. Effective this past September 1, 2009, towing a vehicle in violation of State Law could result in the immediate arrest of the wrecker driver and/or parking facility owner/manager. |
